Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

A truly magical stay at Hotel Bardo Savannah From the moment we walked in, it was clear this place gets everything right. The design is gorgeous, every corner feels thoughtfully curated, nothing feels like an afterthought. Our room was absolutely spotless, and the whole property has that rare quality of being both beautiful and comfortable at the same time. The food was fantastic, genuinely some of the best we’ve had on a trip. And the service was over the top in the best way: warm, attentive, and never intrusive. And the morning coffee setup is just so good. We left already planning our next visit. If you’re looking for a Savannah stay that feels special from start to finish, this is it

We stayed here for a kids free weekend and had a lovely visit. The pool is incredible. It was cute, clean, comfortable and the drink/food service was great! Our room was cozy, clean and the bathroom was spacious and beautiful. The service was a little slow when we called for towels, etc. The coffee at the lobby bar was great and they served a delicious flat white. The location was great, walking distance to the Farmer’s Market on Saturday morning. Overall we enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again.

We absolutely loved our stay! We did a staycation for an anniversary/babymoon loved seeing this side of Savannah. We hardly left the hotel everything was wonderful. The room was spacious, clean, so many amenities that made it high quality from shampoos to robes to stationary to send notes to family/friends. The pool was beautiful, food/drinks convenient, it was such a relaxing visit. The lobby had specialty iced tea and breakfast bites in the morning. The front desk was so supportive, I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay!
